Here are the directions to follow to reach the zec Pontiac (to know how get directions from your home to our office in Gracefield, click here) :
From Gatineau :
Take Autoroute 5 North until the exit for Route 105. Follow Route 105 North to the village of Gracefield. Then follow the directions to the municipality of Lac Cayamant. From Cayamant, follow the directions to the foręt de l'Aigle and to the Zec Pontiac “Welcome Station”. After roughly twenty minutes of logging road, you will arrive at the Hibou reception gate.
You can also gain access to the zec Pontiac by passing through the municipality of Otter Lake. To do so, take highway 301 at Kazabazua to Otter Lake turn right on Picanoc road. Currently, the welcome centre for this entry point into the region is located at the intersection of the road 301 and the Picanoc road ("Dépanneur du coin", at Otter Lake).
From Mont-Laurier :
Follow the route 117 in the direction of Val d'Or until you reach the welcome centre for the zec Bras-Coupé-Désert/Pontiac near "le Classic" restaurant.
From Maniwaki :
Take route 105 north and pass over the "Désert" river bridge. Turn left onto Principal Street. Follow this street until the intersection at Montcerf road. Turn left on to Montcerf road and follow the directions to the Tortue welcome centre (at roughly twenty minutes from Maniwaki).
